Approach Stairs for Pavilion

The approach stairs on the north side connects the difference in elevation between the ground and the floor of the pavilion. The staircase consists of four steps, each of which has a tread made of Abies sachalinensis and Thuja occidentalis(t=30mm) facing each other. The kick height is 180mm, and the treads are 480mm in height to enable climbing up and down at a gentle angle of inclination. A furniture installed as an access route from the adjacent promenade to the interior of the pavilion.

北面の地面と休憩施設床面の高低差を繋ぐアプローチ階段。計4段で構成され、各段でトドマツとニオイヒバの耳付き原板(t=30mm)の踏板が向かい合うデザインとした。蹴上を180mm、踏面を480mmとして緩やかな傾斜角による上り下りを可能とした。隣接する遊歩道より、休憩施設内部へアクセスする経路として設けた什器。
